As a volunteer with PEKRAWI, you play a vital role in our mission to uplift communities and safeguard their prosperity. To ensure our values are upheld, all volunteers are expected to follow this Code of Conduct:
1. Respect and Dignity

Treat every individual—community members, fellow volunteers, and staff—with respect, kindness, and compassion.

Honor the dignity of the B40 and M40 communities we serve by avoiding judgment, discrimination, or insensitive behavior.
2. Integrity and Accountability

Carry out volunteer duties honestly, responsibly, and to the best of your ability.

Be punctual, reliable, and communicate promptly if you are unable to fulfill your commitment.

Use PEKRAWI’s resources, materials, and funds responsibly and only for their intended purpose.
3. Confidentiality and Privacy

Respect the confidentiality of all beneficiaries and their personal information.

Do not share photos, videos, or stories of beneficiaries without proper permission from PEKRAWI.

Abide fully by PEKRAWI’s Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions as published on our website.
4. Professionalism and Safety

Maintain professional conduct at all times, including appropriate language, attire, and behavior.

Follow all safety guidelines and instructions given during programs or events.

Avoid behavior that could endanger yourself, others, or damage PEKRAWI’s reputation.
5. Inclusivity and Collaboration

Embrace diversity, ensuring that all individuals feel welcome and included.

Work collaboratively with team members and respect the decisions of PEKRAWI coordinators.
6. Prohibition of Misconduct

Volunteers must not engage in harassment, discrimination, exploitation, or abuse of any kind.

Substance abuse, theft, or misuse of authority will result in immediate dismissal from volunteer duties.
7. Representation of PEKRAWI

Remember that as a volunteer, you represent PEKRAWI and its values at all times.
