As per the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA), publicly available information on individuals and Business Contact Information (BCI) is not considered as “Personal Data.” BCI includes details such as an individual's name, title, business telephone number, business address, business email address, or business fax number, and similar information not provided solely for personal purposes.

2. Collection, Use, and Disclosure of Personal Data

PEKRAWI collects, uses, and discloses your personal data for one or more of the following purposes, which are in line with the mission and objectives of our organization:

  • Administer, manage, and evaluate social services and counselling services provided to our clients.

  • Verify and process requests, transactions, and inter-agency referrals.

  • Develop, conduct, and evaluate programs, services, talks, and workshops.

  • Engage, manage, and recognize clients, volunteers, donors, partners, and staff.

  • Produce financial, regulatory, and management reports, and other required information as per relevant authorities.

  • Publicize events, trainings, programs, services, and other initiatives undertaken by PEKRAWI through various platforms, including the website, social media, newsletters, flyers, brochures, banners, and videos.

  • Conduct relevant research studies to improve the effectiveness of our programs and services.

  • Other reasonable work necessary to facilitate and enhance the delivery of PEKRAWI's programs and services.

3. Access, Correction of or Withdrawal of Consent.      to Your Personal Data

You have the right to request access to, and correction of, your personal information. You may also withdraw your consent for the use or disclosure of your personal data at any time. Please note that if you withdraw your consent to any or all purposes, and depending on the nature of your request, you may be denied access to and use of services that require your personal data for their continued provision.

We have implemented a range of security measures to protect the safety of your personal information. Access to your personal data will be restricted to authorized personnel only and will remain confidential.
